Welcome to Verbeel Studio Cottage; the premises where the local municipality once paid out its monthly pensions. This pension building was bought by Liezl Dick in 2003, “with scholarship money for a mere song” to serve as a break-away home. In 2009, she transformed it into a habitable space, when a toilet, kitchenette and porch were added. Imagine sitting on a stoep and watching the sun set or waking up and watching the sun rise behind the Witteberge and the church beckoning you. You can now do this and so much more on Rosendal when you stay in Verbeel Studio Cottage.

A quirky and quaint bachelor studio cottage that sleeps 2 comfortably on a double bed, nestled aside a charming rose garden. This unique guesthouse offers a truly enchanting escape for those seeking a delightful stay. The cottage features a well-equipped kitchenette with all the features you need – small fridge, microwave, electric kettle and gas burner. You can whip up delicious meals using fresh ingredients from the monthly market or local shops & deli.
