Captain’s Cabins

The Captain’s Cabins was built as the original Rosendal Hotel, Bar and Bottle Store and has quirky farm-style charm and character. It is full of treasures from the Captain’s travels, and makes for great gatherings and golden memories, on top of a comfortable night’s sleep. The house has a large open dining room and lounge area with a wood burning fireplace, which leads into the fully self-catering kitchen. The lounge walks out onto the undercover verandah, where you can sit and watch the town go by, and sunset is lovely from the front stoep.

• Three bedrooms, all en suite. 2 Queen Sized beds and a King Extra Length bed. Additional sleeper couch ¾ Sized bed.
• The Atlantic Cabin bathroom has a double shower
• The Caribbean Cabin has a cast-iron clawfoot tub
• The Pacific Cabin has a bath/shower combo
• Open plan lounge and dining area with lovely wood burning fireplace.
• Fully Self-catering kitchen: Electrical appliances: kettle, toaster, stove (part gas), fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher. Washing available upon request
• Spacious verandahs, covered braai area and a large fenced garden
• Free Wifi (with 6 hour back-up during a power outage or loadshedding)
• Gas heaters in each room, plus electric blankets on each bed.
• Large TV in the lounge (Smart Box ready; please bring your own devices).
• Secure undercover parking
• NB: The Captain’s cat lives on site, and sometimes visits the main house

Fridays and Saturdays (2 night booking): R2 500 per night
One night stays permitted on Saturdays only: R4 000 
A discounted rate will apply for a 7 or more day stay
