A labyrinth is located in Hobhouse Park, Botha Street.
Rosendal Nature Trail
Walking, hiking and cycling the trail is free of charge and socialised dogs are welcome. This is a new trail so please give us your constructive feedback. More signage and trails are coming!

Cycling
Rosendal Cycling Club
Rosendal is a very popular mountain biking destination with over 300km of gravel roads in the area. The town has an informal cycling club that welcomes all participants and skill levels. Routes vary every week and cover the regional and farm roads, with distances ranging between 20 and 70km – depending on interest and conditions.
You can also request information on various route options and GPX files if you would like to ride in your own time.

Tennis
Rosendal Tennis Club
The Club invites all visitors to come and play on Saturday afternoons from 14h00. Farmers, artists, other locals and visitors play very relaxed, non-competitive tennis. New balls are provided. Appropriate clothing and shoes must be worn at all times. Racquets are available free of charge.

Guided Tour of the
Rosendal Heritage District
The tour includes access to the main buildings of former downtown — The Bank, The Old Post Office, The Blacksmiths Shop, The Service Station and The General Dealer. All these buildings have been restored to their original style and character and each has its own, unique, story. Included: a narrative history of Rosendal and how it developed, going from boom town to ghost town and back again. Visitors will receive a map for other heritage buildings in Rosendal, (The NGK Church, Rosendal Hotel, et al) .

Historic Rosendal – Ghost Walk
Step into the shadows and tragic past of our town with the local ghost tour. Join me as we explore landmarks, hear chilling tales and (hopefully) encounter the spirits that linger in the night.
The tour is a walking tour of about an hour and a half to two hours.

Rosendal Village Market
The monthly Rosendal Village Market has become a red letter day in the calendar of Rosendallers. Market stalls display a mixture of home cooked pies, cookies, pancakes and handmade items, with visitors from surrounding towns also exhibiting their wares.

Rosendal resident Cathy Perkins trained in therapeutic massage, aromatherapy, colour therapy and reiki. She offers aromatherapy with deep tissue massage where required for muscular tension. Colour therapy sessions include an assessment of colour selection, and massage with oils selected for colour resonation, colour light and energy balancing. Reiki treatment is also available.

Church Services
The church is over a century old and every Sunday at 09h30 there is a service where everyone is welcome to join. The church is called ‘Rosendal Baken van Hoop/Rosendal Beacon of Hope’, and although the weekly services are attended by about 30 people the service is broadcast over social media to more than 300 people, The church is privileged to still have an organist that plays every Sunday.
